1. Architect's reflected ceiling plan showing 4 suspended dhow hulls. Originally designed as steel frames and trusses.

2. McIntosh timber solutions using 34m long x 7m deep "Keel" trusses. Proved more cost effective than steel. All members pre assembled in factory.

3. Four site assembled trusses craned into place at 11m centres.

4. Hull shape formed with curved Glulam gunwale and ribs. Service area for ducting, etc. above gunwale and planking to be fixed to ribs for exposed hull shape.

5. Completed feature boat roof with main curved truss chord also expressed as decorative keel. Total roof area supported by McIntosh Glulam structure 34m x 56m.
